Congratulations Jakob! Welcome to the world of those who can move by their own volition. He looks a little unstable, I mean I wouldn't think he'd be ready to give a piggy back ride for at least a few months, but he'll be a pro by the time child number 2 comes.
Isn't it relieving/frustrating when they start waling on their own?! I love to see them accomplish it, but hate that they can make it to the open toilet, or stairs, or spilled food in the kitchen in about half the time it took them to crawl over! Congrats on being preggy! :)
Half of our family is VERY proud of their Norwegian heritage (uh, hem, I'll let you guess who!)! So we try to incorporate Norgwegian words (ie, Lag Knudsen) and foods into our lives. Jakob has great heritage on both sides of his family!
We are living so happily in Eagle, ID just a few minutes from my parents and Pat, Rachel, and Ava. Luckily, Brett, Jen, and Austin live a short hop skip and a jump down the freeway!
Erik works at Hewlett Packard and I am blessed beyond belief to be able to be a stay-at-home mom! Jakob and I have the best time everyday. He's the funniest kid and so hugable.
We look forward to sharing all of our adventures with you and reading about yours!

What a CUTE little farmer!
He is really crusin' along now! Big change since we saw him a couple weeks ago. Go buddy!
I love when they first learn to walk. It reminds me of a drunk little sailor. Too cute.
